Connecting another popular international system opens new opportunities and expands horizons for tapXphone. This allows for payment acceptance in regions where Discover cards are popular. This is an important step in promoting SoftPOS payments in different parts of the world.
The Discover payment system is one of the most widespread payment systems globally, created by Discover Financial Services in 1985. Discover is among the largest credit card issuers in the United States. Cardholders can make purchases in most countries worldwide. Besides the US, Discover cards are accepted in South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and other regions. Payments can be made at commercial and service points with terminals displaying the Discover and Diners Club logos.
It’s worth noting that in 2023, the tapXphone team developed and certified software kernels for international payment systems American Express and UnionPay.
