The certification of JCB opens up additional opportunities for banks to work with international customers and cardholders from Asian countries and other regions where this payment system is widely used. Support for JCB will help partners expand their potential customer base without additional costs for installing traditional POS terminals.
To enable this support, the IBA Group team has developed and certified the corresponding payment kernel. This ensures correct transaction processing, compliance with security requirements, and stable operation of the service on smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices used by partners.

We are consistently moving towards making our SoftPOS solution as universal as possible for banks, acquirers, and their customers in any part of the world. It is important for us that partners can launch projects with us in different countries without facing limitations related to payment systems and supported cards. This is why we are gradually certifying new payment systems and expanding the list of payment kernels in our solution, so that businesses can accept cards issued by both local and international issuers, covering more regions and use cases for cashless payments,” said Vadzim Smatrayeu, VP of FinTech Services at IBA Group.
As a result, SoftPOS by IBA Group now supports a wide range of payment systems: Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, PURE, and JCB.
