The SoftPOS by IBA Group team has enhanced the application functionality to comply with European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements. Its goal is to enable people with disabilities, elderly users, and anyone facing accessibility barriers to independently use digital products and services on equal terms with others.

To support visually impaired cardholders, we have developed an alternative PIN entry mode that replaces the standard soft keyboard with a gesture-based PIN input system. Key Features:

  • PIN input via tap and swipe gestures instead of visible PIN buttons
  • Audio instructions are provided in the selected application language
  • The mode is not enabled by default and requires explicit activation for each transaction
