What the recertification confirms
The recertification confirms that tapXphone:
- ensures the correct processing of contactless transactions;
- meets payment security and data protection requirements;
- is ready to accept Mastercard cards on NFC-enabled mobile devices.
It also confirms that tapXphone’s technology foundation remains up to date for banks, acquirers, and payment providers developing mobile payment acceptance services.
Mastercard is one of the world’s largest and longest-established payment networks. It operates in more than 220 countries and territories, supports transactions in over 150 currencies, and connects millions of payment acceptance points and digital channels worldwide.
Mastercard previously included tapXphone in its list of recommended mPOS solutions on the Mastercard Engage platform. The platform’s directory brings together trusted technology partners that help banks and businesses implement payment services. Inclusion in this list, together with the successful recertification, confirms that tapXphone meets Mastercard requirements and can be used in international mobile acquiring projects.

For us, recertification is part of our ongoing work to ensure product reliability and security. Payment technologies and market requirements are constantly evolving, so we regularly enhance tapXphone, update its components, and confirm compliance with current standards. Our goal is to maintain tapXphone at the highest level expected by our customers and partners,” said Vadzim Smatrayeu, VP of FinTech Services at IBA Group.
Payment system support
TapXphone supports a wide range of international and local payment systems, including Visa, Mastercard, China UnionPay, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, PURE, and JCB.
This enables banks, fintech companies, and acquirers to adapt SoftPOS services to the requirements of different markets and scale them without building separate infrastructure for each payment system.
